My husband lost 30 pounds following a keto diet, he's since switched to a low carb plan. One of his daily tricks in keeping carbs down (and losing weight) was to eat one meal per day that didn't include carbs.
It usually ended up being his lunch, so he'd split his carbs for the day between breakfast and dinner. These are also great options if you're a late night muncher and are out of your carbs for the day!
Our favorite place to buy no carb snacks is either Amazon (check out our Amazon store) or Thrive Market. By keeping your fridge and pantry stocked with healthy options makes it much easier to stay away from sugary, processed, or high carb foods.
Do these finger foods REALLY have zero carbs?
When we say no carb snacks, we are meaning snacks that range literally between 0 carbs and up to 1 net carb. The net carb total for each is listed with the snack idea.
If you're purchasing snacks and packed no carb foods, make sure to check the labels since not all brands will have the exact same nutritional content. You of course always want to choose low carb snack ideas that do not have added sugar.

Crunchy Snacks
- Lupini bean snacks - 0 net carbs since these are so high in fiber, they cancel our the carbs. Flavored with Mediterranean goodness!
- Pork rinds - 1 ounce (about a handful) - 0 net carbs. These are seasoned, you can buy them without seasoning too.
- Kale chips (our homemade recipe with no added sugar) or you can buy kale chips too- 1 ounce - 0.5 net carbs
- Seaweed snacks (unsweetened) - 1 package (typically 7-8g) - 0-1 net carbs
- Almond flour crackers - 10 crackers - 0-0.5 net carbs. A 1 net carb serving is 20 crackers, so to get under 0.5 net carbs, eat 10 crackers or less.
- Coconut chips (unsweetened) - 2 Tablespoons - 0.5+ net carbs
Pickled and Fermented Snacks
- Pickles (dill) - 1 small pickle (about 3 inches) - 0 net carbs
- Olives (green or black) - 5 large olives - 0-1 net carbs
- Marinated Artichoke Hearts- 0 net carbs. Trader Joes Brand is 0, be sure to check the labels at your grocery store.
Cheese Snacks
- Cheese Crisps - 23 crisps is 1 net carb, so eat 11-12 to keep the carbs under 0.5 net carbs each.
- Mozzarella string cheese - 1 stick - 0-1 net carbs
- Cheddar cheese slices - 1 ounce - 0-1 net carbs
- Brie cheese - 1 ounce - 0.5 net carbs
- Provolone cheese (sliced) – 1 ounce - 0-1 net carbs
- Colby Jack cheese (sliced) – 1 ounce - 0.5 net carbs
- Havarti cheese – 1 ounce - 0.5 net carbs
- Swiss cheese (sliced) – 1 ounce - 0.5 net carbs
- goat cheese - 1 ounce - 0 net carbs
- feta cheese - ยฝ ounce - 0.5 net carbs
Meat and Deli Snacks
- Bacon strips - 1 strip - 0 net carbs. Make our air fryer bacon or our baked bacon recipe when you want to cook an entire package.
- Pepperoni slices - 5 slices (about 1 ounce) - 0.5 net carbs
- Ham slices - 2 ounces - 0.5 net carbs
- Salami slices - 5 slices (about 1 ounce) - 0.5 net carbs
- Roast beef slices - 2 ounces - 0.5 net carbs
- Turkey slices - 2 ounces - 0.5 net carbs
- Beef jerkey - make sure to buy a brand that doesn't add sugar (like the one we have linked)
- Grassfed beef sticks - Chomps brand is our fave! They have tons of different flavors or even turkey too.
If you have a Trader Joe's in your town, you can buy the Chomps grassfed beef sticks there. One shopping hack we do is to use the free Ibotta app to get $1 off of each Chomps beef stick you buy.

Yes! There are actually nuts that fall in the less than 1 net carb category.

- Macadamia nuts - ยฝ ounce (about 7 nuts) - 0.5 net carbs
- Pecans - ยฝ ounce (about 7 nuts) - 0.5 net carbs
- Almonds - ยฝ ounce (about 8-10 nuts) - 1 net carb
- Walnuts - ยฝ ounce (about 7 halves) - 0.5 net carbs
- Pine nuts - ยฝ ounce (about 2 tablespoons) - 0.5 net carbs
- Sunflower seeds (unsalted) - 1 tablespoon - 0.5 net carbs
- Pumpkin seeds (unsalted) - 1 tablespoon - 0.5 net carbs

We've included a list of veggies and fruits that are easy to eat whether you're standing at your kitchen counter or are eating on the go.
- Celery - 2 stalks - 0.5 net carbs
- Cucumber slices - ยฝ medium cucumber - 0.5 net carbs
- Radishes - 6 medium radishes (about ยฝ cup) - 0.6 net carb. Be sure to try our air fryer radishes recipe if you haven't had them yet!
- Zucchini slices - ยฝ medium zucchini - 0.5 net carbs
- Cherry tomatoes - 2 tomatoes - 0.5 net carbs
- Lettuce wraps (with meat, cheese, etc.) - 1 small wrap - 0.5 net carbs
- Avocado (small) - ยผ avocado - 0.5 net carbs. You can smash it and use it as a dip for pork rinds or pepperoni chips.
Misc ideas
Eating keto or low carb has been popular for many years now. Because of that, there are a TON of packaged zero carb snacks on the market you can buy.
Many of these are no carb by bumping up the fiber, since many people deduct the grams in fiber from the carbs to come up with the net carb total. They're more processed than other items on this list, but it might make it easier to stick to low carb eating.

Keto Cheese Crackers
0 net carbs per serving
Thin cheese slices baked in the oven are an easy and cheap potato chip alternative. Be sure to use thin cheese slices or the cheese melts too much, either sharp cheddar or Monterey Jack are great options.
Everything Bagel Stuffed Celery
0.8 net carbs for 2 stalks
2 stalks of celery have 0 net carbs. Just add a zero carb cream cheese (or close to 0 cream cheese) with a sprinkle of everything but the bagel seasoning for a quick and tasty snack.
Air Fryer Chicken Wings
0 net carbs
Wings are more often served as a snack or appetizer than for dinner it seems. Use our air fryer cooking time and temperature as a guide and season the wings with your favorite sugar free rub or seasoning.
Hard Boiled Eggs
0.6 net carbs each
Hard boiled eggs always make a great snack, they're definitely not just for breakfast. We show you how to air fry them or make them in an Instant Pot, but feel free to boil them on the stove instead.
Pepperoni Chips: Microwave or air fried
If you aren't yet making your own carb free pepperoni chips, you're in for a real treat!
Of course you could simply eat no carb pepperoni straight out of the package, but an easy no carb or low carb idea is to make your own pepperoni chips. They only take 1 minute to make in your microwave or you can try our air fryer version if you'd rather!
Net carbs: 0
Parmesan Chips
While of course, you can purchase parmesan chips at the store, they're tastier and cost less if you make your own at home.
To make your own no carb parmesan chips, you just need to bake them in a 400 oven in small cheese clumps on parchment paper for 5-6 minutes.
Net carbs: 0.02
Oven-Baked Bacon
Is there SERIOUSLY a better no carb snack that bacon? I mean...seriously! Not only is it one of the world's finest foods, but if you choose your brand carefully it's a no carb snack too.
We especially love to bake it in the oven so we can easily cook an entire batch at once for meal prep and breakfast during the week.
Net Carbs: 0
Pickle Roll-ups
If you're looking for zero carb snacks, you can basically make a zero carb snack or meal on the go out of our meat, cheese, and pickle roll ups!
Just make sure to check the labels and buy 0 carb pickles, cream cheese, and lunch meat. Turkey slices are 0 carb, so that's an even better choice than ham.
Avocado Egg Salad
Add our avocado egg salad to lettuce wraps for a finger food snack on the go!
Eggs mixed with a fourth of an avocado make a meal with less than 1 net carb. It's totally delish without the added mayo, but if you do decide to add some, make sure it's zero carb of course.
Bacon and egg cups
While you might think these are mostly a breakfast food, there's no reason you can't pack them in your lunch or eat them as a snack.
