Welcome to Whole Lotta Yum! I’m Jen, a self-taught foodie who loves to create easy & healthy comfort food recipes using fresh ingredients. Like many, our family has different food restrictions whether it be for health reasons, dieting goals, or just personal preference. Our blog goal is to provide delicious family friendly recipes that work for a variety of food restrictions.
I have an auto-immune disorder and numerous food sensitivities, and mostly eat low carb, paleo, and vegetarian. My husband is following a Keto Diet and has lost over 30 pounds so far! Our kids just want to eat better overall and will mostly eat the healthy food we put in front of them, but they still want an occasional treat or bowl of pasta.
Many of our recipes include substitution ideas like how to make a certain dish dairy free, making our family favorite treats for the kids but also including a variation that’s gluten free and sugar free. We’re hoping this makes it easier for you to accommodate any food restrictions and preferences you have in your household too!
