Ground beef is cooked through when it is no longer pink and has turned a brown color. The best and safest way to make sure your ground beef is cooked is by using an inexpensive digital meat thermometer. Ground beef should be cooked to an internal temp of 160°F.
For best results, brown your ground beef first. Cooking ground beef from frozen isn't recommended since it can lead to uneven cooking, that being said, it CAN be done if you're in a hurry!
