Chicken Sausage in Air Fryer
We usually eat some version of precooked chicken sausage in our home once a week. Typically we toss them on a big sheet pan with some vegetables and off they go to become a wonderfully simple dinner.
Yet, we do love our air fryer and have already tried brats in the air fryer... so it was only natural that we try cooking chicken sausage in air fryer as well.
We served the chicken sausage alongside our air fryer bell peppers and onions and, dare I say, it was better than baking it all in the oven! Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, our precooked chicken sausages have never tasted better or disappeared so quickly.

- However, we do recommend that you flip, toss, or rotate the sausages halfway through cooking (more often if your unit is really loaded with chicken sausages).
- Air fryer models can vary and some units cook hotter than others. Keep a close eye on the sausage cooking time the first time you make the recipe by chance your model cooks fast. Adjust the time as needed to heat them through and brown them to your liking.
- For best results, always check the internal temperature with a digital meat thermometer.

David says
The Aidells package doesn't list cooked or uncooked chicken sausages. They look uncooked, but your recipes fall for precooked. its unclear to me.

I did find the small print Fully Cooked on the package.
It could be a bit larger 🍻
