- Garlic cloves: Fresh minced garlic adds flavor.
- Seasonings: Sea salt, black pepper, and dried basil.
- Olive oil: Helps keep patties moist.
- Optional: Cheese, buns or lettuce wraps, and toppings like tomato, onion, avocado, bacon, or pickles.
How to air fry burgers to medium
Prep the patties: In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and basil. Divide into 4 equal balls and flatten into patties.
Preheat the air fryer: Set to 360°F and allow to heat for 5 minutes. This ensures burgers start cooking immediately.
Air fry: Cook patties for 12 minutes, flipping after 8 minutes, until your desired doneness. For best medium burgers, aim for an internal temperature of 160-165°F.
Add cheese: Place a slice of cheese on each patty after flipping, so it melts perfectly.
Serve: Load up on your favorite toppings and enjoy hot.

- Depending on the size of your basket, you can cook 2-4 patties at a time.

- Depending on which size of air fryer you have, you'll be able to make 2 or up to 4 air fryer burgers at a time.
- Cook the burgers in the air fryer for a total of 12 minutes, flipping after 8 minutes, or until your desired degree of doneness.

- Serve the cheeseburgers or burgers hot with your favorite burger toppings like sauces, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickles, or avocado slices.
Notes

- Use a cooking thermometer to check the internal temperature, and cook until they reach 165 degrees.
- A burger press can be used to evenly shape the patties, but it's not essential. You can also shape them with clean hands.
- The recipe makes four 4 oz burgers, you'll want to use small buns or add two burgers per larger bun. These are great served on lettuce leaves too for a high protein low carb meal.
