Instant Pot and Ketogenic Diet
Juggling a healthy lifestyle with quick and easy meals can sometimes be a struggle! Using an Instant Pot is our secret weapon to help us stick to our low-carb, ketogenic lifestyle and it can help with quick family-friendly meals!
There are so many Instant Pot ketogenic recipes for dinner that go well beyond eating something like a roast. And not only does a pressure cooker help get dinner on the table fast, but it also makes weeknight cooking and meal prep super easy.
I wasn’t sure if I’d ever break the barrier and get an Instant Pot, but after enduring a hot, dry summer with no air conditioning, finding an alternative to make low-carb meals that didn’t involve the oven or an all-day watch was a must.

Instant Pot Chili with Kielbasa
At first glance, you might assume a low-carb, keto-friendly chili is simply traditional chili without the beans. That isn’t the case at all my friend, and this version is so hearty and chock full of delicious goodness, it’ll quickly become a favorite in your home too.
In addition to classic ground beef, the low-carb chili adds kielbasa sausage, which takes it to an entirely different level. The swap of mushrooms for the kidney beans keeps it full of flavor and chunky. Trust me when I say this will become one of your favorite Instant Pot ketogenic recipes!

This simple recipe for low-carb beer brats is very popular on our site. Cooking bratwurst with butter and a light beer under pressure is beyond delicious!
You can use your favorite beer, of course. We used Michelob Lite since it only has 2 carbs per bottle. While you can skip the beer entirely and use chicken or beef broth instead, using beer adds so much flavor and doesn’t overpower the sausages at all.
Our kids weren’t fans of crockpot beer brats since they could taste the beer, but now that they’re older, making pressure cooker beer brats has become a family favorite!
