Anything with strawberries has always been one of my husband's favorite desserts, since he hasn't been eating sugar or dairy, using dairy-free and sugar-free chocolate chips made that easy to do.

Ingredient Notes
With just 3 ingredients, nothing is simpler than these keto chocolate covered strawberries! You can keep them as simple or fancy as you want. We also dipped them in shredded coconut and cocoa powder.
- 8-9 oz bag sugar free chocolate chips- We used Lakanto, Lilly's is a great alternative. Either semi sweet or dark chocolate work well.
- coconut oil
- 16 oz strawberries - make as few or as many as you like!
Variations
Recipe Variations-Lilly's white chocolate can be substituted for semi-sweet or dark chocolate. Don't have strawberries or want to try something different? Use raspberries or whole toasted almonds.

Step by Step Instructions
Making the chocolate covered strawberries keto recipe is a piece of cake! Just wash the berries, pat them dry, microwave the chocolate, and dip! So easy!
Wash the Berries
Rinse the strawberries and pat them dry with paper towels. Be sure to dry each berry or else the melted chocolate won't stick.
Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Melt the Chocolate
Add the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a medium-sized bowl. Melt the sugar-free chocolate chips in the microwave, stirring after every 30 seconds until they're completely melted, this will take about 2-2 ยฝ minutes in total.
Dip & Cool
Hanging onto the green stem, the strawberries โ of the way into the melted chocolate, letting the excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.
As an optional step, before the chocolate hardens you can dip the sugar-free chocolate strawberries in cocoa powder, sprinkles, or shredded coconut.
Lay the keto chocolate covered strawberries on the parchment paper.
Once you've finished dipping all of the strawberries, put the baking pan in the fridge until the chocolate hardens for at least ยฝ hour.
If you want to drizzle chocolate or white chocolate over the berries, refrigerate the covered strawberries first until the chocolate hardens before drizzling the chocolate over the top.
Put the decorated strawberries back in the fridge until they're ready to serve.
Recipe Tips
- We used Lakanto brand semi-sweet chocolate chips for the recipe, any sugar-free chocolate chips will work including Lilly's brand or ChocZero. Dark chocolate chips are also a great alternative.
- As a variation, dip the chocolate in sugar-free melted white chocolate or use white chocolate to drizzle over the top. To make pink-tinted melted chocolate, melt white chocolate and add a drop or two of red food coloring until it's the desired shade of pink you're looking for.
- If you have chocolate leftover, the melted chocolate also works great with almonds, raspberries, or other types of nuts. Or pour it into a candy mold and make chocolate candy shapes.

- The strawberries will keep up to 2-3 days in the fridge, but for best results eat them the same day or the next day since strawberries start to get soft quickly and the stems discolor. Go celebrate!
