Recipe notes
- Our barkcuterie board might seem like a lot of food to feed a dog mid-day as a snack, feel free to scale it back for your dog's dietary needs. Our dog was at late stage of cancer and wasn't eating dog food at this point.
- If you add any homemade foods like we did with chicken meatballs and roasted sweet potatoes, make sure not to add flavoring such as garlic or onions since those are toxic to dogs.
- Make sure the fruits and vegetables you add to the charcuterie board for dogs are safe for them to eat. Lean proteins such as turkey and chicken are also best since pups should only consume small amounts of fat at a time. Eating too much fat can cause pancreatitis. Keep your doggie best friend safe!
