This Frozen Greek yogurt bark is so good!
If you're a Greek yogurt lover and are looking for a different way to enjoy it, look no further than making our frozen Greek yogurt bark!
We love eating Greek yogurt since it's high protein and super filling. When you combine it with honey and fruit, and then pop it in the freezer, it magically transforms into a healthy treat that just might pass for breakfast too.
While our yogurt recipe mixes in 2 kinds of fruit, jam, and chocolate, it's super easy to customize. Instead of adding chocolate, why not mix in our homemade maple almond granola?
Ingredients you'll need
- Greek Yogurt - We used plain unsweetened 2% Greek yogurt
- Honey - adds a touch of sweetener, maple syrup or agave can be used too. If you use sweetened yogurt you might not add honey at all.
- Strawberries, diced - make sure to cut them into small pieces or dice or they'll be hard to chew once frozen
- 1 banana, sliced or diced into very small or very thin slices
- chocolate (optional)- We broke up chocolate covered Pocky sticks but mixing in mini chocolate chips or granola would be great too.
- Blueberry Jam - other flavors work great too! We chose blueberry for the color and flavor contrast, you can also use fresh fruit instead of jam.
** Please see the recipe card at the bottom of the post for the exact quantities **
Variations
Mix and match fruits and toppings to your liking – Fresh blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, and mango are other ideas.
Mix up the yogurt base – Plain Greek yogurt was used in this recipe, you can use a flavored variety as well and skip the honey in the recipe since flavored yogurts are usually sweetened.
