We used the thicker sliced Trader Joes Applewood Smoked Bacon, which is keto-friendly bacon since it’s nutritional content per slice: 90 calories, 7 grams of fat, 0g carbs, 0g fiber, and 5g protein.
Here’s our favorite bacon in the oven recipe:
- Preheat your oven to 375 and make sure the oven rack is in the middle position
- Lay parchment paper on a jelly roll style baking sheet and evenly space 1 lb of bacon slices so they don’t overlap
- Using a baking rack is optional, but put the bacon on the rack instead of directly on the parchment paper if you’re using one
- Cook the bacon for 10 minutes and check for your preferred degree of doneness. Flip the bacon over.
- Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes, depending on the thickness and how crispy you prefer your bacon.
- Lay the cooked bacon on a couple of paper towels to help remove the grease
- Serve warm and enjoy!
