Here are a few of the best keto Taco Bell options for breakfast!
GRILLED BREAKFAST BURRITO
The grilled breakfast burrito is a terrific keto Taco Bell option if you skip the burrito shell and add extra protein.
While this is technically a dollar menu item, Taco Bell makes it super easy to customize your order. You can even order it in advance online and just go pick it up!
There's numerous options for what type of protein you can order such as bacon or sausage, what type of sauce you want to add, and you can request extra helpings of eggs and meat too.
As you can see the add ons do cost a little bit more, as does asking for extra eggs and meat.
How to order it: A grilled breakfast burrito with no tortilla, and served in a bowl with extra eggs and (xyz protein of your choice). While it does come with nacho cheese sauce, to get real cheese added will cost you a little bit extra and extras like guac and salsa will add to the order price.

MINI SKILLET BOWL
The Taco Bell mini skillet bowl already starts with 14 net carbs, the issue is that includes carbs from potato bites that you probably don't want to be eating. By tweaking the menu you can bring the skillet bowl from 14 net carbs to only 5!
The other thing to make you aware of is that the mini skillet bowl is tiny! Because this is on the Taco Bell dollar menu, there isn't much to it. You'll definitely need to beef it up by adding extra servings of eggs and protein, and sauces too if desired.
A quick and easy adaption to make this a keto friendly Taco Bell meal is to skip the potato bites and add extra eggs and an extra protein option instead.
You can pick either a high protein option of either bacon, sausage or steak to keep this as keto as possible.
My favorite way to order it is with bacon, the mini skillet bowl defaults to coming with a nacho cheese sauce, my preference is to skip that and add gauc and sour cream.
How to order it: A mini skillet bowl with no potatoes, and served with 3 cheese blend, guacamole, sour cream, and extra bacon and eggs.
