medium onion

packet onion soup mix

butter, cut into pieces

Instructions
Prep ingredients
: Slice sausage, halve potatoes, trim green beans, chop onion, and mince garlic.
Layer
: Place potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker. Add sausage, onion, and garlic. Top with green beans.
Season
: Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over everything. Dot with butter pieces. Pour in chicken broth.
Cook:
Cover and cook on LOW 6–7 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours, until potatoes are tender.
Serve:
Stir gently, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.
