Chicken Sausage in Oven

Get perfectly cooked chicken sausages in the oven either by roasting them on their own or roasting them with potatoes and vegetables.

Ingredients

chicken sausage
pre-cooked

Red bell pepper
sliced

large yellow onion
sliced

broccoli florets
cut into bite sized pieces

Yukon Gold potatoes
cut into ¾” chunks

olive oil

teaspoon
fine sea salt

teaspoon
ground black pepper
Instructions
Baking them alone
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray or olive oil and add the chicken sausages to the pan.
Bake for 20-25 minutes (or until they reach 165 F), flipping them halfway through cooking.
Baked Chicken Sausages with Potatoes and Vegetables
Preheat the oven to 400 F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl add all veggies, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread the vegetable and potato mixture onto a large sheet pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
Add the pre-cooked sausage to the pan and cook for 10 more minutes. Flip the sausages and stir the vegetables.
Continue baking for 10-15 more minutes until the sausage is browned and the vegetables are cooked through. Enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to change up the vegetables and use mushrooms, cauliflower, green beans, or sweet potato cubes.
To bake uncooked sausage, add about 10 minutes to the cooking time and add them to the pan when the vegetables get added.
