Instructions
Prep all of the ingredients by slicing the cheeses and meats.
To assemble your masterpiece, we suggest adding a few small pumpkins or a fall focal point to the platter or tray that you can build the meat and cheese board ingredients around.
Artfully arrange the sliced meats, cheeses, and crackers around the pumpkins.
Fill in gaps with the fruits, olives, nuts, and treats. Adding themed items such as the mini fall pumpkin cakes adds to the ambiance.
Add decorative accents such as leaves, a different color of pumpkins, or spooky vibes like we did with a skeleton hand.
If there are more gaps on your board repeat with even more goodies or sprinkling on nuts or small fruits in the holes make great fillers. Enjoy!
Notes
A fall-themed charcuterie board doesn't need to be expensive. Just using 2 varieties of meats, cheeses, and crackers and then repeating layers many times adds beauty and interest to the board. Since it was close to Halloween, the board used mostly orange, black, and purple colors with white touches. Using colors to mimic the fall leaves of red, orange, yellow, and brown would be lovely too. Trader Joe's is the BEST place to get charcuterie board ingredients! So many times can be purchased for less than $4-$5 each (ex. brie is about $5 whereas our other grocery store is $10 each), they sell mixed boxes of crackers instead of having to buy multiple boxes, their mixed olives are $2, and their cheese selection is insane. Make a fall cheese plate as small or as large as you like it. All you need is one kind of salami, cheese, fruit, and nuts to have a delicious and easy platter.
